Bernardel Pere was a pupil of Lupot and one of the best and most interesting French makers. This is a wonderful instrument made with an inspiration of Stradivarius model. It is in excellent state of preservation. The level of workmanship, choice of materials, varnish composition, appearance and tonal quality can place this instrument in the highest category of "golden period" French violin making.
