A very fine German violin bow made by Heinrich Knopf ca. A very fine, rare German certified violin bow made by Henrich Knopf for Ludwig Christian August Bausch ca. 1865, branded under the frog L. Carl Heinrich Knopf was one of the greatest German bow makers.

He made wonderful bows for important shops of Bausch family and and Nikolai Kittel. This is a superb example in excellent state of preservation with an original winding. This bow possessing a 1st class sound and outstanding playing quality that is very similar to Kittel bows and suitable for a soloist. The length of the stick is 73.3 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g. Thank you and good luck!
