I have always specialised in the line-engraved stamps of Great Britain - the various states and cancellations both being specialities. In the last ten years I have become a specialist in pictorial Victorian envelopes and in particular the Mulready Caricatures of the early 1840s. It is being published by the Royal Philatelic Society and will be promoted at London2022.

Any information readers have on these stunning and rare items, in particular used examples, is gratefully received, and any included in the book will of course get full acknowledgement. In recent years I have expanded into other areas of philately and postal history, and a wide variety of collecting interests will be covered on my website. I also give talks to societies on Victorian Pictorial Envelopes. All items sent securely packed in board back envelopes for maximum protection.
