A very fine early antique German violin string bow by Franz Albert Nurnberger

  
Up for sale is a very fine original antique Franz Albert Nurnberger violin bow. Its made by hand in Markneukirchen, Germany and is an early example. The frog has mother of pearl eyelets and slide with silver mounted ferrule and talon. Its end screw also has inlaid mother of pearl at the tip. The piece has been played and is in non restored condition. The carved stick has a nice cherry color with a carved bone head plate. Part of the head plate is missing at the tip. It measures 24 1/4 inches long, weighs 36 grams and in nice condition.
