A very fine old German certified violin bow by H. A very fine German certified violin bow made by Herman Richard Pfretzschner ca. 1895, branded on the stick. Was excellent maker who went to study and worked for J. His beautiful bows are often made in the style and/or with influence of F.

This is a fine example of the maker's work, made in elegant style in excellent state of preservation. The stick is fine dark red brown pernambuco, round in shape, beautifully made. The frog is ebony with silver mountings.

The button is ebony with two silver rings. This bow is in a very good condition, ready to play. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight is 59.5 g.
