It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Jimmy Hunt, Arthur Franz, Helena Carter , Leif Erickson, Hillary Brooke, Morris Ankrum, and Walter Sande. It was directed by William Cameron Menzies. This restored movie poster is Flat and measures 22" x 28".
The poster will be mailed Flat. It is on medium stock paper. Prior to restoration, it was Folded. None of the prior Fold lines are visible.
Most original movie posters pre-1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or a defect. This original movie poster is graded C8.5 Very Fine to Near Mint. Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. T his original movie poster has an exceptional appearance and is immediately ready for framing and display. To some, this Half Sheet rivals the images on the One Sheet, particularly if you like actual movie scenes on an original movie poster, which only the Half Sheet (this one) has on it.We believe that the original 1953 Half Sheet movie poster of INVADERS FROM MARS has excellent investment value. Generally we find that the One Sheet original of INVADERS FROM MARS is much more available than its sister the Half Sheet, which we feel the Half Sheet is much rarer.
