1sh Chalon Head IMPERF, no WMK fine used with "CUNEDIN" pmk. Super example of Imperf 1sh Green with a "CUNEDIN" cancel..... Watermark: I cannot see one and I have looked really hard!

Lovely fresh green colour - not blue green and not blued paper. The paper feels thin and there are a couple of tiny areas where you can partially "see through" the stamp as you would with a watermark when holding it up to natural light..... There don't appear to be any obviously thinned surface areas and there is no discernable shape of either a star or a "NZ".

Either way there is no detraction in the appearance. The super clear postmark "CUNEDIN" I presume is an error for Dunedin, which in itself adds some interest! No creases, tears or rusting evident. The gallery images are either photographs or scans of the actual item you will receive. No image has been enhanced or edited in any way.

Quality and settings of screens vary widely which can affect image clarity and colour. I describe item/s exactly as they appear to me in person and only sell items that I would be thrilled to receive. Please wait until your auctions end and I will raise a final invoice. I always obtain "proof of posting" from the Post Office.
