It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. Charlton Heston, Leigh Taylor-Young, Chuck Connors, Joseph Cotten , Brock Peters, Paula Kelly, Edward G. Robinson, Lincoln Kilpatrick, and Dick Van Patten. It was directed by Richard Fleischer. This unrestored movie poster is rolled and measures 30" x 40".

This size is a little different than the standard One Sheet size of 27" x 41". This original movie poster has never been Folded. This original movie poster is graded C7.5 Very Fine Minus. Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. This poster has a very presentable appearance with excellent detail of the images and colors which have not faded.

Despite the multiple pin holes which create tiny whitish marks near the border, this original has a very clean appearance. The creasing along the top is disguised somewhat by the black background and is not obtrusive.

That said, if you are interested in this poster we could have it restored by a professional restoration company, with the cost of restoration added to the price. We believe that the cost of restoration would be recouped by the increase in value of a restored SOYLENT GREEN, 30" x 40" rare size original movie poster. All said, this original can certainly displayed as is - without restoration - to create a very presentable and superb display. We believe that the original movie poster SOYLENT GREEN has great investment value.

The movie is certainly iconic - at least to my generation - and the "secret" of the movie which is somewhat depicted in the poster is unforgettable. And true fans of Charlton Heston will recognize another performance by this incredible actor in yet another role that displays his self-admitted status as a misanthrope (like this author), making this original movie poster to be in demand by fans and collectors of Heston movie items and SOYLENT GREEN alike.
