The clock uses a French 8 day movement with visable escapement. This strikes the hours and the half hours on a bell. The Ormolu case has light general wear and tear due to age but nothing major. The glass is all good. The dial is signed W Litherland Paris. There is some wear to the dial just above the left winding hole as you can see in the picture. This is probably where the winding key has slipped over the years. The clock is quite large standing 48cm high, 19cm wide and 17cm deep. The clock will come with a one year guarantee on the movement and obviously a key.
