Very fine large, working American Waltham Watch Co Railway Pocket watch
This is a very smart looking large Gentleman's Rose Gold Filled Railway man's pocket watch, the watch is marked "American Waltham Watch Co" and is a very well finished Nickel with blued steel screws and hand set jewels, its just such a good looking movement! The watch winds very well and hand sets, its also working when wound, I had my watchmaker look at the watch and he said it still retains much of the original finish and has clearly seen very little use. The movement is high grade, this model has the chronometer grade "Star Wheel Cam" regulator and as with the rest of the watch its in stunning original condition and just superb, I think its what they call an Appleton Tracy grade?
But American Watches are not something we know much about other than they are second to none for quality. Size: approx 5.5 cm across the watch case, without the pendant & winding crown.
