Very fine working German DRUSUS Precision Silver & Gold Gent's Pocket watch

  

This is a very smart looking Gentleman's Silver & Rose Gold Filled Dress pocket watch, the watch is marked "Drusus" on the dial and case. I can not find a great amount out about this company other than they where a German Watchmaker who used Swiss high quality movement ebauche and finished / cased them in Germany, the Silver case has a full set of German "800" Silver hallmarks as well as the case number which has been repeated inside the front bezel. The dial and hands are stunning and overall its working well but does need a good clean and polish up because as the images show its very dirty. It also has the hands slightly in the wrong place as when the hour hand is on the hour the minute hand is off at present, though allowing for the hands the watch winds well and seems to be keeping approx time so I think after a clean and service it should be a great watch to use. The watch winds very well and hand sets, its also working when wound, it still retains much of the original finish and has clearly seen very little use.

The case has the bezel and pendant / Button with what looks to be a Pink Gold "wash" or filled so it gives the impression of being Silver & Rose Gold, very cool looking and after a clean it will be superb. Size: approx 4.9 cm across the watch case, without the pendant & winding crown. Please look at the images closely as they represent an important part of the description, thanks.
